About Muddy Stilettos 

Muddy Stilettos, ‘The Urban Guide to the Countryside’, is a series of fun and informative lifestyle blogazines written by journalists across 18 counties with reviews, what’s on and more. Muddy Stilettos was the winner of Most Innovative Blog in the UK in 2015, runner-up again in 2016 and one of eight national finalists for the UK’s Best Arts and Culture Blog in 2017.

The ethos of Muddy is all about quality and curation and unearthing the cool independent businesses and events in each county. The Muddy Stilettos awards are entirely publically voted, so to win a Muddy Stilettos Award is a real achievement. There’s a lot of buzz on social media throughout the process and last year over 10,000 people voted in the Muddy Stilettos Sussex Awards alone, in its first year of holding the awards in the county! We’ve designed the categories so that some of the unsung heroes who aren’t covered by other awards get a chance at glory.

How the awards work 

From 3 May Muddy Stilettos are asking people to nominate their favourite businesses across 27 categories. The nominations voting finishes on Wed 24 May. The top five businesses nominated in each category will then appear in LIVE voting on the website with totalisers showing how everyone is doing during the Finals – Wed 7 to 14 June.
