The 'Entry Level Barista Course' is a beginner level barista course for anyone looking to gain experience working with brewing equipment in a commercial setting or for businesses in the hospitality industry who would like to give new team members an opportunity to quickly get to grips with commercial espresso machines, coffee, coffee production and serving.
If you're new to the art of using a traditional espresso machine and you want to learn the fundamentals of espresso brewing in a commercial environment, this is the course for you!
This training module is designed to take you from a novice with little or no experience to a competent barista.
This course isn't just about making coffee. You will have the chance to learn about the product in its entirety by developing your knowledge of coffee growing, harvesting, processing, roasting and, of course, brewing.
The course is run by our SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) qualified barista at our contemporary, purpose-built Roastery and Training Centre just off the A38 at Ivybridge in Devon.
Please note: This course covers commercial espresso machines only. Domestic espresso machines will not be part of this training. If you are interested in learning more about your home espresso machine, please consider our Home Barista Masterclass instead.
