We've asked ourselves the question, 'how can we help those households to enjoy their coffee more sustainably?'
For us, the answer is in two-parts: The first is to ensure that the coffee itself is organically grown and certified as Fairtrade. The second is to provide pods which are 100% aluminium as this means that you don't have to arrange to have them collected, you can simply put them in with your regular recyclable tins and cans for collection; you just need to remove any coffee from the pods.
This useful handheld gadget makes that quick and easy. Pop the pod in the EcoPress and give it a push. It will collect the grounds in the bottom of the EcoPress (which can later be composted) and turns the pod completely inside-out. You can then rinse and pop this into your recycling.
The EcoPress is compatible most used aluminium coffee capsules, excluding capsules for professional, 'built in' and Nespresso®* Vertuo models.
