Competition Terms & Conditions

This competition is open to UK entries only. Entrants must be age 18 or over. The winner will be contacted via the email provided with their entry. The winner will need to respond within 28 days of being contacted; if the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner.  

The prize will be sent to a postal address provided by the winner on notification that they have been successful, provided that the winner provides an eligible postal address and within 28 days of being contacted.

The competition is not open to employees of Owens Organic Coffee Roasters / South Devon Roasters Ltd, their family members or anyone else connected to the competition.

Entrants to the competition shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions.

There is no cash alternative and the prize is not exchangeable, not transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other prize.

South Devon Roasters Limited reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of a similar value, in the event that the prize which is offered is not available for any reason.

There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter this competition. The promoter (South Devon Roasters Limited) reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.

Closing date is midnight (that’s 00:00 hours, 12 am on Sunday night/Monday morning) on the date mentioned in the competition information, and the winner will be announced shortly afterwards.

Only one competition entry per person. Entries that are on behalf of another person won’t be accepted.

A winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries which have correctly answered the competition question.

South Devon Roasters Limited reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of South Devon Roasters Limited in all matters relating to the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

By entering the competition, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your competition entry.

South Devon Roasters shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this competition where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

The competition and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and entrants to the competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
